Graeme Locke is an independent building surveyor with an extensive knowledge of properties, particularly domestic, gained by qualification and many years of hands-on experience.

The core of the business focuses on RICS Home Surveys, damp surveys, timber surveys and preservation works.

Most problems are generally caused by poor construction techniques, wear and tear or changes and alterations since the property was built. Simple repairs and maintenance are usually all that’s required to put things right and back to normal. I try to adopt a holistic method to deal with issues using carefully thought out ways of solving a problem and wherever possible avoiding chemical treatments and commercially used damp products.
